A. The book is actually a play, and the original movie was made in the late 50s. The 1997 version lifted the dialogue right from the screenplay for the original movie, if I am not mistaken. However, I cannot attest to that in a court of law, so you are probably better off reading it than trying to watch the new version of the movie. If you are going to skip reading, and watch the movie instead, then for heaven's sake, watch the old one with Henry Fonda. That one, I am sure, is a good match for the original play, as the playwrite did the adaptation for screen.

12 Angry Men, the 1997 version?
Q. Does anyone know where I can find the 1997 version of 12 angry men? All I know is that showtime did it, and I can't find it anywhere. I've checked my local library, and netflix. Haven't tried a video store yet, but since its already hart to find it online, I'm not that positive about the store. Does anyone know where I can find this, preferably online. I really need the 1997 version for an assignment.

The foreman was a high school football coach and he always took charge like a coach would. The bank teller was quiet, reserved, and shy just like a bank teller would be. The baseball fan wanted to just come up with a decision quick so he could make it to the game. The salesman was ALWAYS talking. you know? Their jobs kind of reflected their personality and how the decided things. For baggage, juror 3 was very high strung and was always preoccupied with worrying about his son. Look at both versions and see a study not only in the workings of human nature but also in the workings of script adaptation at its best. Overall, none of the remakes and plays defeat the original 1957 film with Henry Fonda. That one was the best.

Q. He is 48 and she is 56. They have not lived together in 18 years. They have two kids together 23 and 21. They never met me. Why... long story short my husband is in prison (no comments about this) he is a good man and made some mistakes when he was younger. We have been married 13 years.
